“We don't ship meal kits. We ship someone's grandmother's Sunday.”

“The card said it was Teta Nadia's grape leaves from Deir el Ahmar. I was crying by the second roll. My mom hasn't made these since we moved in '98.”

“We made the shish barak for eight people on a Saturday. Three guests asked for the recipe. We told them it was a 70-year-old secret from a village in Mount Lebanon. That's worth every penny.”

“I've eaten at every Lebanese restaurant in Chicago. Nothing comes close to what arrives in these boxes. The sourcing is serious. The kibbeh labanieh was the best I've had outside of Zghorta.”

“I'd never cooked Lebanese food before. The instructions were so clear — and the little story card made me feel like I was doing something that mattered. I subscribed after my first box.”

Questions & Answers

Everything You
Want to Know

Before you commit to making someone's grandmother's grape leaves, you deserve honest answers.

Every recipe in our catalog comes directly from a Lebanese grandmother — sourced through our network of diaspora community partners, food historians, and regional cooking collectives. We travel to villages, film recipe sessions, and document the exact techniques. The grandmother's name, village, and story travel with every kit.
We rate each kit honestly: Browse, Intermediate, or Weekend Project. The grape leaves and fattoush are genuinely approachable. The shish barak and kibbeh are more involved — but the instructions are written like a grandmother is standing next to you, not a recipe editor. Every step includes a "why" alongside the "what."
Pre-measured ingredients (nothing frozen, everything fresh or shelf-stable as appropriate), a printed recipe card with step-by-step instructions, a story card about the grandmother and her village, and a small spice packet of something you probably don't have — sumac, dried lemon, or wild za'atar from the Bekaa Valley.
Yes. Every kit is clearly tagged — vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, nut-free, dairy-free. Many traditional Lebanese dishes are naturally vegan or can be made so. We're building a dedicated vegan mezze collection launching this spring, sourced specifically from the coastal villages of South Lebanon.
Subscribe and save 15% on every box. You choose how many kits per week (1, 2, or 3), pick your delivery day, and we handle the rest. You can swap kits up to 48 hours before your delivery date, skip a week anytime, or cancel with one click. No minimum commitment, no cancellation fee.
